Installation Instructions For: 2017 - 2026 MB Boats Bimini Extension Kit
(Fits MB’s solid “non-tubular” wakeboard tower using existing 3/8" fasteners)
This kit is designed specifically for MB Boats equipped with the flat, solid-plate tower. Installation is quick because it uses the factory 3/8 inch bolts already threaded into the tower — no drilling, cutting, or modifications. Once installed, the carbon-fiber telescoping poles deploy in about 60 seconds and give your boat a huge boost in usable shade.
What’s Included
(2) Shoreline tower brackets
(2) Carbon fiber telescoping poles
(1) Shade canvas
(1) Storage Bag
Replacement Hardware
A 5/16" Allen Wrench is the only tool you will need
Step 1: Locate the Factory 3/8" Fasteners
On the MB flat-plate tower, you’ll find a pair of 3/8 inch bolts on each side. These are the exact fasteners your brackets will mount to.
Refer to your product photos if needed to confirm bolt location and bracket orientation.

Step 2: Remove the Factory Bolts
Back out the 3/8" bolts on one side of the tower.
You do not need to remove speakers, wiring, or any structural hardware — just the exterior bolts shown in the listing photos.
Step 3: Set the Bracket in Place
Hold the Shoreline bracket against the tower, lining up the slots with the 3/8" bolt holes.
Make sure:
The bracket sits flat and flush
The pole receiver points to the rear of the boat
The bolt holes line up cleanly without forcing anything
Step 4: Reinstall the 3/8" Hardware
Install the cylinder and tower bracket using the longer bolts provided through:
The Shoreline bracket
The flat MB tower plate
Into the original threaded anchor points
Hand-tighten both bolts to get the bracket aligned correctly. Then finish tightening with a 5/16 socket wrench until the bracket is secure and cannot rotate.
Repeat this process for the opposite side.
Step 5: Insert the Carbon Fiber Poles
Drop each telescoping carbon-fiber pole into the bracket’s receiver tube.
Keep the poles fully collapsed for now (36″). This makes attaching the shade easier and keeps everything balanced.
Step 6: Attach the Shade Canvas
Your shade connects in two places:
Front Connection → Existing Bimini
Use the built-in buckles sewn into the front edge of the shade to wrap around your Bimini frame or wake tower. Pull the straps snug so the leading edge stays centered.
Rear Connection → Poles
Loop the grommets sewn into the rear corners of the shade over the ends of the poles.
This is the main tensioning point once the poles are extended.

Step 7: Extend the Poles
Pull each pole rearward and extend it up to the desired height (up to 96 inches when fully extended).
Lock the sections so the canvas tightens evenly. You want a smooth, slightly arched pitch across the shade — not loose, not overstressed.
