What Comes in the Kit

Before you start, lay everything out so you can see what you're working with.

  • Two 2.5 inch aluminum tower clamps

  • Rubber spacer inserts for different tube diameters(.125" .175" and .25" thick)

  • Two indexing plates

  • Two angle-adjustable cylinders

  • (2) Carbon Fiber Telescoping poles

  • (1) Shade Canvas

  • (1) Storage Bag

Step 1: Mount the Tower Clamps

Start by assembling your 2.5 inch clamps around your wakeboard tower. Most boats do well with the clamps installed roughly 56 inches apart, measured center-to-center. That spacing gives you a natural pitch for the shade and lines up with the pole geometry.

If your tower tubing is smaller than 2.5 inches, use the included rubber spacers. They keep the clamps snug, prevent metal-on-metal contact.

Step 2: Add the Indexing Plate and Cylinder

Once your clamps are tight, attach the indexing plate to each clamp using the supplied hardware. The plate locks the angle of the cylinder and keeps things from twisting over time.

After the plate is on, secure the cylinder to it. The cylinder is the piece that your telescoping poles will sit inside.

Step 3: Set Your Pole Angle

With both cylinders mounted, step back and look at the angle of your poles. The cylinders can slide left or right to fine-tune the pitch. We recommend starting with the poles angled 1 degree outward from center.

Step 4: Insert the Poles and Attach the Shade

Slide each telescoping pole down into the cylinders. The poles should sit firmly in the bases and move freely when extended.

Strap your sunshade to the wake tower and connect the shade canvas to the pole tips using the sewn-in loops and attachment points. Pull everything tight so the canopy sits clean with no sagging. If you see any wrinkles or uneven tension, tweak pole height or cylinder angle until the shade lays smooth.

Step 5: Test and Final Adjustments

Before you head out, give the whole system a quick shake test. Look for:

  • Even tension across the fabric

  • Secure clamps with no rotational movement

  • Poles fully seated in the cylinders

  • Canvas pitched the way you like it

Notes:

This is simply a guide for installation on most models. Since this is a universal kit it can be installed in hundreds of different positions. In some cases you may need to move your brackets further apart or closer together. Depending on your specific model you may also need to mount your brackets on the vertical portion of your tower to eliminate interference with your existing bimini.
